Сегодня красота стала валютой, которой измеряют ценность личности. Мы живем в эре оземпика, биохакинга и луксмаксинга. Телесность находится под увеличительным стеклом: общество пристально разглядывает «недостатки», а индустрия красоты навязывает женщинам все новые и новые способы самосовершенствования, порой доходящие до абсурда.
Мой проект рассказывает об архетипичных девушках, которые гонятся за недостижимым идеалом внешности и не могут остановиться. Они обращаются за бьюти-процедурами на метафорический завод красоты, где происходит мутация и вместо обещанного совершенства пациенты приобретают странные, пугающие черты. Мои героини застревают в ловушке между самолюбованием и отвращением к себе, знакомой многим современным женщинам.
