Puppetry Festival Identity

Identity concept for annual puppetry festival in St.Petersburg.

The main goal was to went away from childish connotations with puppetry, emphasizing it’s role in human culture as a whole. The puppets were the part of every theatrical tradition around the world. While russian puppeteering has Western descendance, the ancient greek theater was chosen as the main scenery for KV and graphics. The core message is build around one of the most recognazible objects from this field merged with the historical context.
