The poster series focuses on the routes to the missing St. Petersburg architecture. This offer to look at the city in a new way is not through the remaining masterpieces, but through the voids. Routes recreate the many different images of the missing city through its architecture, from palaces and temples to factories and homes. The objective of the project is to revive the historical memory of the site by sharing the fate of the buildings and their inhabitants.

Forms and contours were removed from the Peterburg ruins, from the archival photographs of the missing buildings. The Castle of Lithuania, the Church of Squad on Senna and the Midrogate Palace have become the basis for the font in whose letters memory now lives.

The foreground is a disappearing architecture; the foreground is a building array in its place. The point is in contrast: the story of loss versus the dynamics of creation, the silence of memory against the noise of the future.
