Concept and Function
The titles in the series are Russian associations written in Latin script to convey the phonetics of the words and their imagery. These associations correspond with the nature of the object (e.g., «katushka» — it rolls). The forms have a functional meaning and reveal the purpose of the object. The stool is conveniently moved by the central hole with a cross, making it light and mobile. Besides serving as a stool, it can also be used as a table.
Expressive colors, minimalism, clarity, and logic are the means of expression. We decided to create a small object using Rodchenko’s principles in a modern interpretation, taking into account the new era and its needs. Through it, we aim to transmit the values of Russian avant-garde: interacting with it and its context.

Shooting at avant-garde locations draws attention to Constructivist monuments, highlighting their unique forms and beauty despite a century of history and decay. This encourages a new generation to take a fresh look at Constructivist heritage, free from conventional frameworks

Target Audience
The stool is designed for use in both residential and public interiors, serving as either a stool or a coffee table. The target audience includes architects, avant-garde enthusiasts, and individuals interested in new and contemporary design.
We envision this household item as more than just a functional piece; it is intended to capture attention and convey the philosophy of the avant-garde. As Rodchenko wrote, it helps people see the extraordinarily ordinary things.
