В своем проекте я рассматриваю явление визуального шума через газету.

Визуальный шум — это скопление «визуального или информационного мусора», отвлекающего внимание и негативно влияющего на психику человека.
Газета является источником визуального шума из-за плотности информации, разнообразия шрифтов и стилей, множества тем, размещения яркой рекламы и иногда нелогичной компоновки. Эти факторы могут создавать перегрузку для читателя и затруднять восприятие основной информации. Один из аспектов информационного шума в газетах — это огромное количество ложной информации, что обычно называют желтой прессой.

Создавая принты, я вдохновлялась проектом современного художника Миши Гудвина «Blur».
«В проекте „Blur“ я создаю серию постеров, дублирующих уличные поверхности под ними, с эффектом размытия. Такой блюр свойственен цензуре в интернет-медиа и тв.
Используя плакат с напечатанной на нем размытой стеной с тегами, я очищаю пространство, сглаживаю пестрый граффити-паттерн».
