About DAFES AWARDS
We established the international competition program DAFES AWARDS to encourage creative achievements, share experiences and form guidelines for professional development in design, art, fashion, education and business.
DAFES AWARDS is awarded in five profiles, 20 categories and 80 nominations, as well as various partner nominations that we form together with educational and creative institutions.
About the nomination
Information graphics, or infographics, visually represent information, helping to understand complex data or concepts. Infographics may illustrate statistics, processes, relations, or other types of information.
Their use across education, business, advertising, and science helps make communication more visual and impactful.
High-quality infographics are informative, engaging, and relevant. The purpose of infographics is to convey and preserve valuable knowledge in a visual form, basing on documented data, visual metaphors, and graphic methods and principles. Professionals across various fields of visual communication can submit their works to share achievements in this area.
Terms of participation
Both concepts and projects that have been implemented or published between November 1, 2023, and October 12, 2025, are accepted for professional nominations.
While confirmation of publication or implementation is not required for a project to participate in the competition, the jury may request verification from the competition organizers in disputed cases.
Requirements to projects
All projects are submitted to the competition in the format of a longread-format report created on the DAFES platform.

Alexei Smagin — a data journalist, analyst of the Yandex Research team.
Denis Zolotaryov — the head of media design at Rossiya Segodnya International Media Group.
Anton Mizinov — an expert in infographics and data visualization. Multiple winner of international competitions.
Roman Bunin — a data visualization expert, author of the Reveal the Data channel.
Denis Zaporozhan — a lecturer at the School of Design of the National Research University Higher School of Economics — St. Petersburg. Design Director for product and communication design at Gazprom Neft, formerly Creative Director of the RIA Novosti infographics studio, author of the DZENDESIGN channel.
Natalya Kiseleva — author of the Data-Comics tag-channel, dashboard trainer, researcher of data art and comics, senior editor of the international dataviz-magazine MakeYourDataSpeak.
Nikita Rokotyan — a dataviz engineer and designer, founder of Interacta studio, co-author of Cosmograph large graph visualization tool and Unovis web-library.
