Nineteen bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates from profiles ’Fashion design’ and ’Creating a fashion brand’ had presented their fashion collections as a final statement of their educational process. Graduate collections reflect the designer’s views on the current fashion trends and the state of today’s world

Darya: «In my collection I draw a parallel between abandoned furniture and a person’s feelings about their place in the new realities of a changed world, trying to regain their strength».

A collection about people who at one point suffered a shipwreck and still could not escape.

Today’s world is unpredictable and uncertain — no one knows what the future holds. Collection ’Untitled’ is a fashion statement about unsteadiness and instability of the world we live in, based on the study of minimalist art.

This work was devoted to studying of the visual aspects of the aesthetics of traveling around the country and the identification of Russianness’ elements. A detailed analysis of the existing visual allows us to determine a characteristic feature for translating it into an artistic technique and further use in creating looks.

Curtains become the main detail being translated as a punctum and carring the metaphorical meaning of choice: to hide from external events or to face them.

The story is about the destruction of a character in a difficult environment, leaving damage in the form of dents on him.

However, the blows of external circumstances didn’t break his personality but made it stronger.

The clothing collection is created for an environment explorer, implying a person who wants to run away from the present world into the world of illusions. It is based on the themes of self-expansion, eagerness for a mental escape, a burning desire for discovering surroundings, considering nature and exploration. It is created in terms of utilities and techwear, suitable for any outdoor activities and hiking.

Moreover, the clothing collection bears and idea of a movement with resistance that is created by embedding a parachute into a piece of clothing. It is suggested as an original method of exploring the world, therefore it is chosen to represent some sort of struggle a person faces when trying to me.

The process of digitalization has affected almost every person. The changes that have touched our lives have influenced who we are now. The central topic of the collection is a question of how we have changed after exiting the digital space.A modern person who is a user of the virtual world returns to the offline space again.
